This policy explains what data SpareKitchen collects, why, and how we look after it. It is a plain-English summary for this demo product and is not legal advice.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, business name and role), listing information, booking and payment records, messages between hosts and vendors, and documents you upload to your vault (such as food hygiene ratings and insurance).
Why we collect it
To run the marketplace: to show listings, process bookings and payments, let hosts verify vendors, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe’s own privacy terms apply to payment data.
Your documents
Documents you upload are shown only to hosts you request to book with, so they can approve you. You can remove them from your vault at any time.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your account data by contacting support@sparekitchen.co.uk. We keep records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
