Terms of Service
These terms set out the basics of using SpareKitchen. This is a plain-English summary for this demo product and is not legal advice.
The marketplace
SpareKitchen connects food vendors with hosts who have spare commercial kitchen capacity. We are not a party to the agreement between a host and a vendor; we provide the platform, payments and tools.
Hosts
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the safety and legal compliance of their kitchens, and honouring confirmed bookings. Listing is free; a confirmed booking is a commitment.
Vendors
Vendors must hold valid food hygiene, food safety and insurance documentation, use kitchens responsibly, and leave them as found. The platform fee is shown before every booking.
Payments & deposits
Rent, the platform fee and any deposit are collected at booking via Stripe. Deposits are refundable subject to the kitchen being left in good order. Hosts are paid weekly.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms are shown on each listing. Be fair — repeated late cancellations may affect your account.
Reviews
Reviews can only be left after a completed booking, so ratings reflect real experiences. We remove reviews that breach our content rules.
Account suspension
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put safety at risk.
